About RCSC
WHAT IS RCSC?
Regional Communication Student Colloquium (RCSC) 2022 aims to provide a platform for students to exchange their knowledge and perspectives through our colloquium. RCSC aims to offer a valuable research culture among students, both undergraduates and postgraduates in preparing them to become competent and established scholars.
This colloquium is about “Celebrating Novice Researchers” in fostering students to share their novel ideas and offer opportunities for students to present their research to the communication society, from Malaysia to Southeast Asia regional countries such as Brunei, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
RCSC will be held on 19-20 October 2022. Activities are carefully planned based on the following:

OBJECTIVES

To foster research culture among students in the field of communication.

To give exposure to students on the research practices among scholars.

To enhance students’ interpersonal competence through presentations.
TARGET AUDIENCES
RCSC targets participants among the following audiences

Undergraduate (bachelor degree) students that are in the field of communication and media from educational institutions in Malaysia.

Postgraduate students that are in the field of communication and media from educational institutions in Malaysia.

Undergraduate students (bachelor degree) that are in the field of communication and media from educational institutions in Southeast Asia regional countries.

PROGRAMME LOCATIONS
Webex
As we are still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, this colloquium will be held online via the RCSC’s website and platforms such as Webex. This is to foster participation without compromising participant’s health and well-being.
